A Wonderful Day
Today we had the privilege of seeing our little grand-daughter, Makayla Hill, dedicated by her parents to the Lord. She was angelic and charmed everyone with her coos, blue eyes and smiles. Pastor Denton of Askewville Assembly of God where the Hills attend, charged them with the solemn responsibility of raising her in a home of virtuous examples and Biblical values. How many of us have received this same charge over the years? It is difficult to realize how profoundly our relationship to God impacts our children. We're often so caught up with jobs, lawns, and committees that we forget our kids are learning about God every time they look at us. It is only through God's grace that are kids are protected when we neglect our responsibility. But God loves children more than we'll ever know.
Little 'K-love' was dedicated in the same white dress that was worn by her mother many years ago when we had her dedicated at our church when we lived in Montana.
Will God let us live till I see Makayla grow, marry, and eventually bring her daughters to the Lord in dedication? Who knows. But if not, that's okay. What we have enjoyed today is blessing enough. Surely there is a God in Heaven who richly rewards His children.

Came to read your message from President Obama but this caught my eye. Congratulations! Surely there is a God in Heaven who richly rewards His children.
