Hal,
As you stated, your question was not addressed in any way. The typical campaign speech and dancing around the subject seems to be the way of the land, or at least our current leadership. As you know by now, we have found out the health care bill not only is going to cost more than congress stated (but news agencies warned of) but it also is creating so many regulator agencies that the agencies with oversight are now saying they cannot begin to estimate how many there will be or how they will control them. Insurancecompanies are already raising rates to prepare for thecoming changes and doctors are preparing to close their doors.
Mr. President, if you are following this blog, the nation you are leading is dying. We need an awakening reversal of the current trends to provide any hope of recovery from America turning into another third world country.
Hal, thank you for sharing and showing others how our current leadership ignores the thoughts and concerns of the people they govern.
Paul

Hello
I hope you are well. I have looked forward to these blogs and read them as soon as a new one was posted. I have lived "vicariously" through your experiences and am so excited to have been a part of everything in even as small way.
I am so proud to know you all and that you are working so hard and willing to be uncomfortable. We whine and complain so much in our country when things don't go as we feel they should. We go and get Managers and Supervisors to fix what we feel are problems, becasue we feel "we shouldn't have to deal with that". I am able to see but am still trying to fully grasp how different these type of situations are for those in less developed countries and realize that I need to be more appreciative of all that I have (electricity, running water, comfort, medical benefits, employment, healthy children....etc.).
Again, I am thankful for you all. Journey Mercies and have an awesome trip home.
I can't wait to see you guys on Sunday!!!
Shannon Kalu

Hey
We sure miss you guys; Sunday School was so quiet without you guys(except that me and Terri were there.......so of course we took care of that). I love reading these blogs and they inspire in me a "positive" envy. I want so badly to be a part of this type of Ministry, because I can imagine everything you are writing and is like I am there with you.

May you all beblessed with good health, traveling mercies and the Spirit of Peace. You are all wonderful and we are thankful that God has chosen you for this Mission.
Love
Shannon Kalu
